Sub Cities in Alsip

Everything was fresh and they were helpful but it really expensive $9.30 for a 12 inch Philadelphia Sub. It old school which is good and bad. Ie bad because it's not toasted and no melted cheese or anything modern.

My go to place when I get hungry. The subs are good and the soups are satisfying, of which there are always at least 4 to choose from.

Me and my sister went into the restaurant to use the bathroom and they were really nice and when we ordered a sandwich they offered two free waters, we expected two little cups but we got the large coke ones and a free buffalo sauce once we went in there we felt so welcome and everyone was so nice we had a few things that we are picky about and they didn’t say anything they also individually wrapped each half for me and my sister overall one of the best restaurants we have ever been to

Best sub sandwich place that you'll ever visit. The owner slices the meat right there while you wait. Forget the big chain stores and support a small family owned business. 5 stars.

Awesome place. Super clean, and my sub was ready in two minutes. It looks really unassuming from outside, but don't worry.

It's a nice place

After repeated referrals on how good their sandwiches my husband brought a couple home one afternoon. They were great . However the second visit proved disappointing. My Turkey sandwich with mayo was overly peppered with no oils or vinegar---it was dry. I don't know what happened between the two visits.

Love this place!! The subs and salads are super good. They have a lot of different ones to choose from. Plus, they sell model trains of all kinds, mostly HO but I did see some N scale as well. The working model railroad they have set up will amaze your grandchildren, as well as adults! Easy in and out in a shopping strip on the West side of Cicero just north of 127th Street.

Subs are ok but the cheesecake is nasty , they keep it frozen and think they can sell it for months ,WRONG

Really good sub shop. Fresh cold cuts. They dont skimp on the ingredients. I got the 6inch washington dc. It was packed full and really delicious. The clam chowder was also very good, surprisingly. They only serve the chowder on fridays. The menu is quite creative as the name suggests, their subs are named after cities. Would highly recommend a visit.

Living in the southern part of Chicagoland, which has some of the best food of all types and cultures, I can't choose favorites. But this is easily in one of the top slots for subs! Everything is fresh as can be and very tasty. Bonus: it's also a model train store, strange combination, but fun to look around while you're there! Recommended

Delicious sandwich every time. Fresh, locally baked bread, freshly sliced meats and cheese, quick service, and a family run shop. What more could you ask for?!!Do not waste another dime at that “Jimmy” place or other sandwich shops. This IS the one you’re looking for!

Great subs and soup!! Sub Cities puts Subway and Jimmy Johns to shame. Sub Cities sandwiches are mostly meat, not lettuce, on very tasty fresh bread. Keep up the great work!!

Amazing sandwiches and great prices!

We got there almost quitting time, and they stayed open without a problem. First time there, and was pleasantly surprised with our sandwiches. The bread was so fresh and tasty. We plan going back and trying the soups too.

The sandwich wasn't a hundred percent my cup of tea but it was pretty good. Definitely a place worth checking out at least once and I would say there's a good chance that the sandwich would fit your bill. I'm very picky about my sandwiches so...

Very good food, friendly staff and terrific atmosphere. We were there with our young grandsons, who both love trains. The boys enjoyed the models trains and their lunch. Our sandwiches were fresh and tasty.

Great 1st time not that expensive great selection anywhere you can get a deli sub drink and chips for under 10 bucks that's a deal sandwich is filled and ingredients are fresh definitely coming back

B. S. E. Best subs ever! Been going to Sub Cities for a while now. Every sub I've had is delicious and workers are always polite and friendly. Always look forward to sub of the month which is always different than the sandwiches that are on the menu. Their soups are also delicious. The only very small drawback about it is that it's only carryout, but I just eat in the car, bring it back to work, or bring it home. I can't say enough good things about this place, I highly recommend everyone to eat here. You won't be disappointed.
